Phil Heath will win again.

Don't know if he can beat Ronney Coleman's record, but we will see.

As for my training, its something I have to start again. Last semester of Uni was brutal.

How many years you been lifting dude?

I trained Muay Thai and BJJ last year - good fun, and a fair bit of TKD when I was a kid.

Now I just alternate between 1hr strength, or 1hr cardio 6 days a week.  Gotta get rid of my mid 30s belly.

Haha nice Softgrip Been lifting on and off for about five years now, I tend to go hard out over holiday periods and make the most of the time off study.

I also have a background in TKD, and currently train Muay Thai on sundays.

Training pretty much 6-7 days a week at the moment.

I do medieval combat re-enactment, other than that the only lifting i do is of the 'beer to mouth' verity.

Haha I get a bit of stick about the socks. Look closely and you'll see the blood stain on the front of my right sock. I wear them because deadlifting with good form and keeping the bar close to my shins on the way up also usually rips my shins up, so the socks are there to collect blood and prevent a mess.

lol I wouldn't call that lifting, that's standing. Your vertibrae will take their revenge later in life.

Rofl, says JooPe666 the expert on human anatomy and physiology. More like, later in life when all my peers are old cunts hobbling around using strollers because they can't stand up straight (many of which will be from slouching in front of a computer all day), I'll have a strong and well developed body that will allow me to remain active well into old age.

Seriously, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried. I deadlift with good form, my vertebrae will not experience any problems. The only side effect of deadlifting heavy that I am experiencing is a massive gain in strength and building up dense back muscles.

The deadlift is considered one of the best exercises you can do, and was even called the "health lift" in the 1800s.
