Whats that??

I do play football (AKA soccer) when the season kicks off in March. Though I'm in the over 35's squad and we do bugger all training. Just turn up, kill ourselves running for 90 minutes and then have beers and BBQ......... but dont tell the Mrs. Not supposed to know that part.

Don't train much at the moment.  Kind of burned out so just walk 4-5 times a week.
Prior to my bout of laziness I trained freestyle wrestling and BJJ for 5 years and before that worked with AIS and VIS athletes helping them with resistance training.  Lots of Russian complex training and that stuff they now call Crossfit before it had a name

Now I'm just happily getting fat while sim racing and playing Planetside.

Love the socks.  I used to train in Skinz to stop the cuts on the shins.
I think my 1 rep PB was around 220 but I had chemical assistance shall we say.  Otherwise it was around 190-200.  I preferred triples or sets of 5 combined with plyometrics as it is better for the explosive power required for wrestling.  If you want to try something different, next time you squat or deadlift set up a stable box next to the rack.  The height is up to you but I would set it as high as I could safely jump, a little over waist height.  Do a set squats or deads for about 5 reps maxing out on the last rep but not so much that you need a spot.  As soon as you finish move to the box and begin doing double leg box jumps.  We would aim for about 10.  If you can do more then you need to go heavier on the squat.

We'd also mix this up by shooting double leg take downs instead of the box jumps.
